Miami Heat President Pat Riley doesn’t believe that forward Chris Bosh will ever play another NBA game in a Heat uniform. Bosh recently failed a necessary physical and the team announced that he won’t be able to participate in preseason training. The news is quite disheartening.
Back in February of 2015, Bosh faced his first of two battles with blood clots. Although he recovered from the first instance, his body doesn’t appear to be reacting as positively to the second clot.
At this point, it’s unclear if Bosh will ever get to suit up in an NBA game again. Blood clots are no small matter and they are clearly affecting Bosh’s ability to get back on the court. He is currently 32-years old so he should have some more good seasons left in his legs. That is, if this recurring ailment doesn’t make it impossible for him to get back on the court. He is an 11-time All-Star and was one of Miami’s ‘Big Three’ along with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade for four years. We are hoping Bosh’s impressive NBA career isn’t cut short. At this point, however, his health is the major concern.
