Netflix Renews ‘Stranger Things,’ Releases Season 2 Trailer

Fans of the smash-hit Netflix original series Stranger Things got the news they’ve been anxiously awaiting on August 30th. The 80’s throwback science-fiction/drama/adventure/mystery/horror show has officially been renewed for a second season. If the inevitable news wasn’t good enough, the creators also threw in a teaser trailer to hype fans up for season two.

While the teaser doesn’t give away anything, it does flash nine different phrases at the viewer while playing the iconic theme song. The nine phrases are “Madmax,” “The Boy Who Came Back to Life,” “The Pumpkin Patch,” “The Palace”, “The Storm”, “The Pollywog,” “The Secret Cabin,” “The Brain” and “The Lost Brother.” Early speculation is claiming that these words and phrases are the titles of each of the nine episodes. With the events of the first season fresh in viewers’ minds, some of these titles make perfect sense. Season two is expected to come out sometime in 2017. If it is half as good as season one, viewers will be in for yet another treat.
